My points have not yet been submitted, do I need to do anything?

No, you do not have to do anything. Even if your points have not been transmitted for several days, they will not be lost and will be transmitted automatically at a later date. 

If you see a note in your results list on My CME for more than 12 months that the points transfer did not work, there was a technical problem in the communication with the server of the German Medical Association that could not be resolved. In such a (very rare) exceptional case, you must prove your successful participation by manually submitting the certificate to the Medical Association.
