The training units are recognised by the North Rhine Medical Association for the ‘Training Certificate of the Medical Association’ in accordance with §5 of its training regulations with 3 points (category D) and can therefore also be recognised by other medical associations.

The advanced training courses are recognised by the Bavarian State Medical Association for the ‘Chamber's advanced training certificate’ in accordance with § 5 of its advanced training regulations with 2 points per advanced training unit (category I) and are therefore also eligible for recognition by other medical associations.

For the Diploma Continuing Education Programme (DFP), the continuing education points recognised by German state medical associations are recognised to the same extent as DFP points due to their equivalence [§ 14, Section 1, Ordinance on Continuing Medical Education, Austrian Medical Association (ÖÄK) 2013].
