Who certifies the CME trainings for psychotherapists?

Modified on Thu, 13 Feb at 4:20 PM

The continuing education units of the journal ‘Psychotherapeut’ are recognised by the North Rhine Medical Association for the ‘Continuing Education Certificate of the Medical Association’ in accordance with §5 of its continuing education regulations with 3 points (category D) and are therefore also eligible for recognition by other medical associations. For psychological psychotherapists, the training courses are accredited by the Baden-Württemberg State Chamber of Psychotherapists in accordance with category D and can therefore also be recognised by other chambers of psychotherapists. The training courses can be credited with 3 points towards the advanced training certificate.

Recognition in Austria: For the Diploma Continuing Education Programme (DFP), the continuing education points recognised by German state medical associations are recognised to the same extent as DFP points due to their equivalence (§ 14, Section 1, Ordinance on Continuing Medical Education, Austrian Medical Association (ÖÄK) 2013).
